Community Program Habitat For Humanity Meeting

Campbell County Habitat For Humanity holds volunteer meetings every third Tuesday of each month at the LaFollette United Methodist Church. A pot luck dinner starts at 6:30pm and the meeting at 7:00pm. New volunteers are needed for Habitat to continue their mission.

Fair/Festival 2014 Dogwood Arts Festival

The Dogwood Arts Festival is an annual event in Knoxville sponsored by Dogwood Arts, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and celebrate regional art, culture, and natural beauty. This year's event is being held April 2nd-27th and celebrates the blooming of the dogwood trees. It includes a parade, a house and garden show, and demonstrations of various Appalachian arts and crafts such as quilting, bluegrass music, and doll-making. Many events are held in Market Square in downtown Knoxville. Additionally, driving trails are marked in Knoxville and the surrounding area for people to view the dogwoods in bloom.

Entertainment Roots & Wings

A project of Campbell Culture Coalition in partnership with the Campbell Co. Historical Society & Museum, the Campbell Co. Artists Association, the Campbell Co. Archives and the City of LaFollette...\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Roots & Wings\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" is a multi-disciplined production based on a walking theater concept adapted and developed by the Coalition to incorporate its on-going youth and community arts and cultire programs. The public is invited and welcome to participate. There wil be exhibitions, multi-media presentations, storytelling, stage performances and re-enactments reflecting public culture from 1900 to 1950. The event will be held on Saturday, May 17th beginning at 12:00pm in downtown LaFollette along North Tennessee Avenue.
